Ride Information

Friday morning’s 40 mile bike ride leaves from the Boca Raton Resort and Club and is fully supported. The route takes cyclists up and back on A1A, Ocean Avenue, along the Atlantic Coast and through some of the most exclusive real estate in the country. Brunch will be served with beach views at Oceanfront Park, at mile 26. Guests that are not participating in the bike ride can take a shuttle to meet cyclists for lunch.

We have a flat out and back bike ride with a fun twist for our Friday Group Ride. To spice up the route we have identified four points of interest, (POI) for you to stop by, take a photo (to show you were there), and learn a little about the Florida Coast. It is simple! The locations will be included on your ride map so you don't have to hunt for the POI's. At the location, find a great spot for a photo (your choice), and then email the photo to: SC_TOC@nmss.org. This email will be used to download your photos so we can share them with the group! Even those of you who choose not to ride can participate! When taking your photos keep in mind a few topics: Unique Offbeat Setting, Florida Culture/History, Best Depiction of the Mission. You may just receive a prize for your award winning photo!

If you’d like to ride on Saturday, it is recommended to stay on A1A going north of the resort, up and back. 40 miles are mapped on the above link but a total of up to 74 miles are possible making a u turn at the Palm Beach Inlet (37mi from resort). Numerous beach parks are located along A1A with restroom facilities and SAG van support will be available.
